About Naomi
Naomi Litvin is a dual citizen of Israel and the United States whose life story is rooted in resilience, history, and faith. She is the daughter of Edith Festinger Litvin, a Jewish Holocaust survivor from Transylvania, born in the same town as Elie Wiesel, and Nathan Litvin, a decorated American Jewish Army veteran from Michigan who landed at Utah Beach, Normandy on D-Day.
Raised in Michigan within a close-knit Orthodox Jewish community, Naomi grew up alongside her three siblings surrounded by the warmth and strength of the extended Litvin family.
Drawn to justice from an early age, Naomi pursued her passion for criminal law, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice, magna cum laude, from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
Naomi is a Jewish Book Council–recognized author of We Never Lost Hope: A Holocaust Memoir and Love Story, which features a foreword by the late Sir Martin Gilbert. Through her writing, she honors her parents’ legacy and preserves their extraordinary story of courage, faith, and enduring love.
